Once again, I put a sign in my front yard that says Vote the Bible. To my surprise, it is still there. I did, however, have one person ask what 'vote the Bible' means. I explained that many things are happening in our country against Scripture and that God has already started to judge America for some gross sins. We need to elect people who will govern in line with God's laws and our Constitution. America was founded and dedicated to the laws of God. As a country, we have spent the last generation removing God's emphasis in our country. We have removed the 10 Commandments are more schools and legal systems. We also have allowed abominable practices to become legal and sanctioned in our country.
America is guilty of shedding innocent blood. Psalm 106:38 (KJV) And shed innocent blood, even the blood of their sons and of their daughters, whom they sacrificed unto the idols of Canaan: and the land was polluted with blood. This verse refers to ancient Israel’s offering their innocent children to pagan gods like Molech. What is more innocent and an unborn baby that is sacrificed to our gods of pleasure and lust? Some argue that these babies are not alive until they take a breath, but I ask you if a live male sperm unites with a live female egg, why isn’t the resulting fetus (Latin for baby), also alive? Human life began when God breathed into Adam’s nostrils the breath of God's life and has been continually passed on to every descendent of our first parents. Life from God is eternal and will eventually live on in heaven or hell. But to destroy the body that develops from conception is the shedding of innocent blood, murder in God’s eyes.

Retribution was one of the cornerstones of Israel’s penal code. The punishment was supposed to mirror the crime. Under the biblical law of retaliation, God may take over sixty-three million lives in retribution for the innocent baby bloodshed in our country. Viruses, Covid plagues, fires, floods, and other natural disasters, as well as murders, and civil unrest are God's response.
Another violation of God’s laws has to do with the union of two adults in marriage. Genesis 1:27 (KJV) So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. There are only two sexes, not three or four, or how many people want to be. God only made two males and females as the basis of the human family. But we have destroyed God's ideal model with a perverted concept of marriage. And our society has been in moral decline ever since. Romans 1:21-32 (KJV) Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and four-footed beasts, and creeping things. Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: Who changed the truth of God into a lie and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen. For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise, also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet. And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, Without understanding, covenant-breakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.
The sins underlined above make an excellent description of the United States this election season. I have never seen campaigns filled with so much hatred and outright lying. Lying about things that any intelligent person can verify quickly. Honesty and integrity are missing in our political system. Our politicians don’t care about the Constitution, the people, the nation, or even the truth. The only consideration is power. The power to do whatever benefits them at the expense of all others. These politicians want to replace God, just as Satan did in dealing with Eve. He altered God’s word, added to God’s word, and outright denied what God had said. Today that is what they call spin or half-truth. But a half-truth is still a whole lie.
America needs to follow God’s instructions for repentance so He will heal our land. 2 Chronicles 7:13-14 (KJV) If I shut up heaven that there be no rain, or if I command the locusts to devour the land, (inflation)or if I send pestilence among my people (pandemics); If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. We need to humble ourselves and pray, seek God’s face, and repent of our evil ways so that God can heal our land and make it great again.
But, if we don’t, God promises more judgments upon our descendants. Hosea 4:6 (KJV) My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: (of god) because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.
I find it interesting to note that the generation that legalized abortion and gay marriage is now the most vulnerable to the AIDS and COVID-19 pandemic. It is now time to repent and return to God, so VOTE THE BIBLE.
