17 - Are these the Last Days - Heady
Updated: Sep 29, 2022
Luke 21:28 (KJV) "And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh."
This know also, that in the last days men shall be…heady…
HEADY, a. hed'y. Rash; hasty; precipitate; violent; disposed to rush forward in an enterprise without thought or deliberation; hurried on by will or passion; ungovernable. All the talent required is to be heady, to be violent on one side or the other.
1. Apt to affect the head; inflaming; intoxicating; strong; as spirituous liquors. Champagne is a heady wine.
2. Violent; impetuous; as a heady current. Not usual. Webster's 1828 Dictionary
A heady person says “I have made up my mind so don’t confuse me with the facts.” They will fight fiercely to defend even an illogical position because it is their idea or leads to their desired outcome. Politics is a great example of heady people on the attack. The party line and platform become far more important than Biblical truth. A baby in the womb of an animal on the planet is a baby unless it is in the womb of a woman, where it is just a blob of flesh like a tumor. God sees this differently. Isaiah 49:5 (KJV) “And now, saith the LORD that formed me from the womb to be his servant, to bring Jacob again to him, Though Israel be not gathered, yet shall I be glorious in the eyes of the LORD, and my God shall be my strength.” And Jeremiah 1:5 (KJV) “Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.”`
