12 - Are these the Last Days (2 Timothy 3:1-5)
Luke 21:28 (KJV) "And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh."
"This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers…"
“A false accusation is a claim or allegation of wrongdoing that is untrue and/or otherwise unsupported by facts. ... False accusations are also known as groundless.” Wikipedia
This sounds like our modern-day legal and political systems where feelings and political correctness overrule facts and truth. The best liar usually wins the argument. For example, if a person sides with God on an issue, he is accused of being against women’s health. Also, opposing 5 trillion dollars of the liberal social package gets one charged being against fixing bridges and roads.
The first accusation for any opponent is to accuse them of being racist. As I write this, there is a murder trial in the news in which the media label the defendant as a racist—the fact they overlook is that both the victims and the accused are all of the same white race.
Just remember that spin and half-truths are still whole lies.
